Starlet 1
Enter the pool either sat on the side or down the steps
Bob up and down in the water (water, level with shoulders)
Travel across the water aided by an Assistant, on the front (f/c leg kick)
Travel across the water aided by an Assistant, on the back (f/c leg kick)
Blow bubbles at the surface of the water
Exit the pool with assistance. |

Starlet 2
Recommened to have 2 swim aids on each arm
Enter the pool down the steps or jump to an assistant in the water
Blow bubbles on the front whilst doing f/c leg kick, un-aided by an assistant
Kick on the back with minimum arm movement e.g sculling
Hold float whilst kicking legs on front and back
Ring of Roses putting face in the water, blowing bubbles
Exit the pool safely
Jump to an Assistant in the water |

Starlet 3
Recommended to have 1 swim aid on each arm
Jump into the pool being caught by an Assistant or by sitting dive
Blow bubbles whilst holding onto the rail and putting face into the water
Using a float out in front, f/c leg kick, blowing bubbles
Using a float on back, good leg kick, good body position
Star float on front for 3 seconds
Star float on back for 3 seconds
Swim through hoop, face in the water, good body position
Exit the pool safely
Jump in the water to an Assistant |
